So I have been craving some mirror reflecting heels for a while now, like the Acne Atacoma, but don't have a spare $598.00. This trend is all about the wedge/heel/platform being metallic,
so I started searching on a metallic/silver wedge, I found Michael Kors Platforms with a silver heel for $98 but where I really found my luck was on ebay where I found these Nine West wedges for $21.99,
I had to wait like 2 or maybe 3 weeks for them so no instant gratification, but no complaints here:) It's always good to try to find your luck on Ebay first!!
For me this is the best thing about trends and fashion, for me its all about seeing a trend and analysing this, what makes it a trend? in this case its all about the heel being metallic so with that information I started a search on finding an item that would translate this,
I spent the whole weekend making lace embellished necklaces that I have put up for sale in
my Etsy store :)

i completely agree with you; no way in hell that i have $600+ to spend on just a pair of shoes, so finding another alternative that's >$100 but still has the trend in mind always makes me a happy girl. & you got an amazing deal on these! eBay rocks =)

Those are quite cute, I like them better than the ones by Acne. I really don't understand the appeal, other than Alexa Chung wore them on her TV show.

this was a good alternative. the atacomas will be a dated trend pretty soon. this is great. the light and your energy are BOTH wonderful!

Love the red lippie you've got on here, it complements the gorgeous outfit perfectly. And I have to admit that I'm usually not a fan of clear/mirrored heels but these ninewests are fabulous. I'd get them! And what a bargain too...

I dont like to follow all the trends, I think the real style is when u just follow the trends that are close to your personality and fit well on your body; I hate the fashionistas who follow all the trends like crazies, they look all the same, no personality at all.
I saw the ACNE atacoma in so many blogs, all the girls wearing the same just cause they have to not cause the boots look good on them. In my opinion these boots are ugly and a rip off, for this money u buy a ferragamo pair, not an ACNE boots, a very overpriced brand. Thats why i like u, u are unique, i dont love your new shoes for me, but they fit very weel with your funny and risky spirit. Big kiss.
