pattern mixing

Blouse; Jill Stuart, dotted top; TopShop, Skirt; vintage, Boots; Jeffrey Campbell

Today I just felt like mixing different patterns unusually together, sketchy florals, dots and an Asian Kimono print. And since I was busy making no sense I decided to wear the red Clog Boots instead of (safely) gray, pastel or black wedges or boots ;)

I'm so bad about mixing patterns! I had mixed feelings about those boots but I think I'll have to try them on - I'm in the mood for rough boots again!

Dannie said...

loooving the way you mixed those prints, although i wouldve preferred a more complementing shoe color, those boots are siiiic though ;)

This is all sorts of perfect! Also, I just have to say that I really love that you smile in most of your pictures! So many fashion bloggers just do the same sullen pout/sexy face and it gets so old! Keep on smiling girl!!

I'm not a fan of those shoes, but otherwise very well done!

The shoes ad something totally different to this outfit and I like that, I'm also really digging the Kimono patterns and how you layered it against prints that usually wouldn't match but you made it work.
