I don't think the TopShop dress will survive another round in the laundry... the lining of the dress is all stretched out and makes the dress twist and turn when wearing it. Actually all my dresses and tops made out of stretchy lace fabrics tend to loose their shape after a while.. does that happen only to me?
I still really like the color though, it's a pastel lilac and the color was the reason why I wore it anyway.. feeling lilac+white+black lately!

I've experienced the same loss of shape with my stretchy lace tops so I think it's just the material. There might be something in the detergent (softening agents?) that ruins the elasticity.
But what's more important, I love the combination of the lilac dress, Dr. Martens boots and a smile!

Oh dear, I think the problem is in the fact that its Topshop. For some reason (the fabric quality reason), clothes form H&M, Topshop, Zara... etc etc never look the same after just a couple of washes.
Nonetheless you still look gorgeous, and I'm loving the White Docs!

Just make sure you are washing your clothes like that in cold water, and either hang-drying them or drying them on low. Heat ruins the elastic in the clothes, which makes them stretch out.

OMG... you know, this was the 1st time the Dr Martens didn't hurt!!!
I used a spray on the leather to loosen it up and I'm still wearing bulky socks with them :)
