Can you believe the leather bow dress is from h&m? I couldn't!!
It's an item from the (old) 2008 divided exclusive line.
It's funny how some season's h&m is really good while sometimes you can really speak of a bad year. In 2008 the problem with this dress was the empire waist which looked kind of out of balance with the current trends! So I just stocked the dress for a future season to come.
When shopping I often think about what the item will do in a few years. A certain timelessness makes clothing so much more interesting to me.

Louise; I often see "old" popular h&m designs back in stores again after years, sometimes with little changes or in different fabrics.. but I wouldn't be surprised if I would see this dress again :)

That dress is so lovely! The giant bow on the back adds something to the outfit instead of that it kills it (like most of the time)! And it's always great when you can carry pieces through time!

That’s a good way of thinking about clothes. I’ve been doing the same lately when cleaning out my closet and getting rid of things. You never want to get rid of pieces that might be very useful in the future.

That leather dress is H&M...not possible. Why must it be an old season item, it is too gorgeous! But I completely agree with you on H&M's flirtations with success and failure from season to season. I feel like they've been really missing the mark the past few years, but some of their fall pieces give me hope. We shall see...

I did too realize that some pieces from the old collections are much more wearable in these days. Hmm to be honest H&M often confuses me haha.
